2027 Summer Internship - Accounting

About the role

The Accounting Intern works within the Accounting department to assist with the recording, analysis, and communication of the Company’s financial results.

Responsibilities

• Prepare bank account reconciliations
• Review and record the company credit card transactions
• Prepare and maintain schedules and reports to track, analyze, and communicate the financial activity of the Company, including but not limited to:
  • Monthly reporting of sales, releases, and closings
• Assist with the lot acquisition process
• Assist with the calculation of home sales prices

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; current enrollment in University required
• Pursuing a degree in Accounting preferred
• Demonstrated computer skills including a working knowledge of MS Office products, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Communicates effectively with vendors, internal employees, and customers

Schedule
