Summer 2027 Internship: Enterprise IT Support
About the role
The Enterprise IT Support Intern will gain valuable exposure to one of the most impactful roles in a corporation's internal IT team. Your responsibilities will include but aren't limited to:
Responsibilities
- Organize and handle IT ticket requests as they come in
- Build relationships with key stakeholders across the organization
- Facilitate changes and IT-based tools and access for staff at all levels
- Leverage PowerShell for initiating solutions
- Leverage a task/project management log/portfolio to properly distribute requests to other teammates
- Aid the Technology team with day-to-day activities and responsibilities
- Maintain updated budgets, schedules, and status reports for assigned projects
- Respond to break-fix issues and coordinate long-term corrective actions
- Define and track agile development of software features requested by the business
Requirements
- Actively pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Management, Economics, Mathematics, Accounting, Finance, STEM, Data Science, or a related field
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially PowerPoint for presentations and Excel for data analysis and budgeting
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
Qualifications
- Must be a US Citizen
- Current full-time enrollment in one of QTS’s partner institutions (listed below) or a Blackstone Launchpad affiliate school:
- Auburn University
- Kansas State University
- Georgia State University
- Southern Adventist University
- Texas A&M University
- University of Kansas
- Preferred qualifications include previous internship or co-op experience in construction, finance, technology, HR, facilities engineering, or related industries
- Experience with data analysis tools such as Tableau or Power BI
- Experience with programming languages like Python, Java, etc.
- Involvement in community activities outside of schoolwork (athletics, clubs, volunteering, part-time employment)

Pay
Please note that this information is provided for those hired in Virginia only, and this role is open to candidates outside of Virginia with compensation that aligns with your location. The successful candidate’s starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location.
