Responsibilities
The summer intern will work in a variety of technical tools the site leverages to create value. These include:
- Data historians
- BI applications
- Advanced Analytics software
- Python
- SQL
- Office 365 tools
The source of work for the intern will come from site requests for a variety of projects.
Requirements
- A willingness to work in an industrial plant environment (Monday–Friday on day shift)
- Major in Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial, Computer, Electrical, Environmental Engineering or Computer Science
- The ability to interact in a professional manner with external partners, suppliers, customers, and colleagues
- Success in working with other people or team to meet a common objective
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office® Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and ability to learn other software systems
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0
- Currently enrolled full time at an accredited four-year college or university
- US citizen, permanent resident or otherwise authorized to work for Michelin on an ongoing, indefinite basis. This position is not available for immigration sponsorship.
