About the role
Test drive the tools in your educational toolbox and learn some new skills along the way with an 11-week paid internship with us. Your internship with Ally will move you from educated to experienced, connecting you with diverse teams and functions across the country. You will have the opportunity to interact with Ally's leadership and learn from their personal successes. The Ally internship program seeks to guide and mentor students with development opportunities designed to provide a bridge between the academic world and the world of business.

What you'll do
- Have hands on experience and project-based work
- Attend Orientation, Executive Speaking Series, and learning sessions as an Intern cohort
- Participate in Mentoring Program and Giving Back Events
- Network with your peers, your team, and those Ally's you find interesting
- Lead an end of assignment presentation
Program details
- Internship Program Timing: May 25th – July 30th, 2027
- 40 hours each week with a mix of in-office and remote working days
- Project-based work
- Market competitive hourly compensation and a sign-on bonus, as well as financial housing assistance for those who qualify
- Successful interns will have the opportunity to return to Ally in an Early Talent Program or full-time role, or to a second internship, depending upon graduation timing
Areas of opportunity
SmartAuction – is an industry-leading internet auction that offers access to virtual inventory of wholesale vehicles for eligible dealers of all brands. You can make or receive offers from your computer or mobile device on select vehicles for sale and receive access to auction inventory and vehicle sales data nationwide.
Qualifications
- Rising Junior or Senior (during the time of internship) in a full-time undergraduate program
- Major/Course of Study: Business, Finance, or related field preferred
- Excellent leadership, interpersonal and communication skills
- Demonstrates Analytical Thinking, Collaboration, Learning Agility
- Available for the full duration of the internship program
- Eligible to work in the US for any employer without sponsorship from the company now or in the future
- 0+ years of experience
- High school Diploma or GED equivalent
