Summer 2027 Intern - Warehouse Operations Management (Northlake, IL)
As a Summer 2027 Intern in Warehouse Operations Management at Keurig Dr Pepper (KDP) in Northlake, IL, you will be assigned a project focused on one of the following areas: Inventory Analysis, Layout & Space Utilization, Order Picking Efficiency, Technology Integration, or Process Controls. The first three weeks will involve hands-on training in the warehouse, followed by seven weeks of dedicated project work. You will be paired with a manager, mentor, and a peer intern. Successful interns may be invited back to participate in our Early Career Leadership Development Program.
About the role
- Experience assignments in Warehouse Operations, Fleet, Transportation, and Sales
- Gain hands-on experience in Supply Chain and Sales Operations by leading projects and collaborating with teams
- Work closely with experienced professionals who will guide and mentor you throughout the internship
- Cross-functional exposure: collaborate with different departments to explore career opportunities in Operations
Internship Program Elements
- Engage in innovative projects within a challenging, cross-functional team environment
- Participate in meet-and-greets and lunch-and-learns with KDP executives and organizational leaders
- Receive professional development training, including networking, skills development, and presentation practice
- Partner with a mentor to expand your knowledge of the business and build your professional network
- Complete a project from start to finish and present your findings to your team, department vice president, and other KDP stakeholders
Schedule
- Program runs from June 7 – August 13, 2027
- Full-time, 40 hours per week
- Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- In-person at our Northlake, IL facility
Pay
- $28.00/hour
- Paid bi-weekly
- $2,500 sign-on bonus, paid within 30 days of employment
Requirements
- Currently enrolled as a full-time undergraduate student at an accredited college or university, in your junior year, with an expected graduation date in Fall 2027 or Spring 2028
- Eligible majors: Engineering, Food Science, Operations/Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Organizational Leadership & Supervision, Business Management, or a related field
- Available to work 40 hours per week (Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
- Geographic mobility is highly preferred
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
- Strong communication skills, including excellent listening, written, and verbal abilities
- Ability to work cross-functionally, be independently driven, and act as a self-starter
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Consumer packaged goods or beverage experience is a plus
- Strong analytical and project management skills
- Ability to multitask in a cross-functional environment
- Must be work-authorized in the United States on a full-time basis without the need for employer sponsorship now or in the future
