Summer 2027 Engineering Internship - Middletown, PA

About the role

Constellation is seeking highly motivated engineering students for engineering internships in 2027 to work in person at the Crane Plant in Middletown, PA. Interns will work on specific projects designed to give real‑world, hands‑on experience while working independently under an assigned supervisor and technical mentor.

Responsibilities

• Cooling tower drone inspections
• Nuclear core analysis
• Control circuit wiring design for feedwater pump
• Thermal overload calculation for motor‑operated valves
• Seismic monitoring instrumentation upgrade
• Weld overlay calculations on feedwater heater
• Hydrogen electrolyzer project

Requirements

• Enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s engineering program for the Fall of 2027
• Majors: Electrical, Mechanical, Nuclear, Civil, or Chemical Engineering
• Minimum GPA: 2.8 cumulative AND 3.0 major
• Track record of outstanding academic performance
• Ability to work lawfully in the United States without need for current or future visa sponsorship
