About the Venue

The Macon Centreplex is comprised of the Macon Coliseum, Macon City Auditorium, and Atrium Health Amphitheater. The Macon Coliseum seats 9,000 patrons and hosts tenant hockey team, the Macon Mayhem. Family shows, concerts, trade shows, GHSA, and other entertainment are frequent. The Macon City Auditorium, first opened in 1925, has hosted iconic acts like Otis Redding, The Allman Brothers, and Little Richard. It hosts concerts, weddings, private galas, comedy shows, and more. The 10,000-capacity Atrium Health Amphitheater opened in Spring of 2024 and features concerts, comedy shows, graduations, and community events.

Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service to suite holders, VIP guests, sponsors, and premium hospitality clients.
  • Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly to requests, concerns, and special accommodations.
  • Maintain full knowledge of menu offerings, ingredients, beverage selections, and available accompaniments.
  • Monitor food presentation, quality, freshness, and product availability throughout events.
  • Serve food and beverages in accordance with company standards and premium service expectations.

  • Replenish food and beverage items as needed to ensure a high-quality guest experience.
  • Serve and monitor alcoholic beverage service in accordance with all local, state, and federal laws.
  • Verify guest identification to confirm legal drinking age prior to the sale or service of alcoholic beverages.
  • Enforce venue alcohol policies and procedures to promote a safe environment for all guests and staff.
  • Maintain full knowledge of menu offerings, ingredients, beverage selections, and available accompaniments.

  • Monitor inventory levels within assigned suites and hospitality areas.
  • Assist with product requisitions, stocking, and replenishment of food, beverages, and service supplies.
  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, health, and workplace safety regulations.
  • Ensure serving areas, equipment, and hospitality spaces remain clean and presentable throughout events.
  • Properly clean, sanitize, and restock assigned areas following event completion.

Qualifications

  • Previous hospitality, suite service, premium seating, catering, restaurant, hotel, or food and beverage experience preferred.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities during events.
  • Knowledge of responsible alcohol service practices preferred.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 25–50 pounds as required.
  • Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events.
  • Food Handler and/or Responsible Alcohol Service Certification preferred.
