Suite Attendant - Arizona State University Athletics

About the role

The primary responsibility of a Suite Attendant is to ensure that suites are stocked with proper food, beverage, and product before and during events, adhering to Aramark standards and suite holders' orders. They maintain the appearance and cleanliness of the suite and food service areas, replenish products as needed, and adhere to all alcohol service policies and safe drinking guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Maintains appearance and cleanliness of suite and food service areas during events
• Replenishes food and beverage product during event upon guests' requests
• Adheres to all alcohol service policies and safe drinking guidelines including checking guests' identification
• Maintains knowledge of menu items and all other offerings
• Breaks down and cleans food service areas and equipment post event
• Returns equipment to proper storage area
• Inventories product at the end of each event
• Ensures security of company assets

Requirements

• Previous experience as a server, suite attendant, or other related role
• Excellent guest service skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
• Working knowledge of food safety principles and procedures
• A valid Food Handler Certificate and Alcohol Server Certification are required
• Candidates who do not currently hold these certifications must obtain them before their start date
• Maintains friendly, efficient, positive guest service demeanor towards guests, clients and co-workers
• Adaptable to guest needs
• Demonstrate an elevated level of guest service, anticipating guests' needs

Qualifications

• Available to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends and holidays
• Must be able to lift, bend, push, pull and/or stand for extended periods
• May require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

Skills

• Excellent customer service skills
• Knowledge of food safety principles
• Ability to follow alcohol service policies
