About the Role
As a Survey Technician, you will support office and field staff by processing incoming information and producing final land surveying project deliverables. You will report to the Project Manager and perform technical tasks utilizing the latest technology in the A/E/C industry. You will help increase land survey project efficiency and client satisfaction by processing data using SAM standards, including evaluating accuracy and sufficiency, while ensuring compliance with applicable land survey project and industry principles under the direction of your supervisor.
Responsibilities
- Monitor field crew’s production and quality assurance
- Carry out initial QC of field deliverables according to standards and best practices
- Coordinate with supervisor to ensure client-specific demands are being met
Requirements
- Minimum of one year of relevant experience
- Strong computer and technical skills; AutoCAD Civil 3D is required; MicroStation, Revit, or similar application is a plus
- Proficiency in technical math; Geometry and Trigonometry are a plus
