Subway - Assistant Manager

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly and professional service to our guests
• Prepare our products and assist in keeping the restaurant tidy and well presented
• Support the Restaurant General Manager in developing an exceptional guest experience and a working environment that promotes engagement and living the Company values
• Manage the team’s guest service focus
• Affirm operational efficiencies with transactions, location appearance and sanitization, and appropriate stock levels
• Select, train, and coach new Team members
• Execute Company processes and programs to provide a consistent guest experience
• Complete Manager’s reports, product ordering, and banking as needed in RGM’s absence
• Lead by example in execution of Company values, programs, processes, and policies
• Coach team to achieve desired service time, quality, and accuracy standards
• Supervise and coordinate work of co-workers in a fair and consistent manner
• Provide feedback, coaching, and direction to fellow team members
• Assume role of Shift lead in RGM’s absence
• Report performance issues to RGM for appropriate handling
• Make safety a priority within the location for guests and team members

Requirements

• Must be able to perform the essential functions of this position and be able to fill in on any work station with or without reasonable accommodations

Qualifications

• Comfortable talking and interacting with guests and team members
• High energy
• Team oriented; willing to give extra effort to help others
• Computer skills are helpful

Skills

• National Food Safety Certification required (can be obtained within 60 days of placement in position)
• Valid Driver’s license

Schedule

• This position is full-time and involves working a variety of hours, day and night, as Loaf N Jug locations can be open 24 hours depending on the location.
• Will primarily be scheduled on opposite shifts from the RGM.
• Weekend & Holiday hours are required.
