About the role

Serve as a substitute for transportation - bus driver, bus aide, van driver.

Supervisor of Transportation

Education

  • High School Diploma or GED

Additional materials required for employment

Criminal Background Check, TB Test, Proof of education, Driver's License and Social Security Card

Criminal Background Check, TB Test within one year, Proof of education, Driver's License and Social Security Card also required.

Special Conditions of Employment

  • All new state employees will be required to participate in the State of Delaware's Direct Deposit system.
  • The cost of the criminal background check is $65 (expense borne by the prospective employee).
  • Candidates must also receive a satisfactory child protection registry check.
  • Candidates must also produce documentation of Mantoux skin test results for entrance to school system.
  • New employees will receive the first paycheck at the end of the second pay period of work.
