Substitute Teachers, Paraprofessionals and Clerical Staff

The South Eastern School District utilizes the substitute services of The Substitute Teacher Service (STS) for their substitute teachers, paraprofessionals, and clerical support staff.

Additionally, SESD will be utilizing the recently passed Act 86, which allows students enrolled in accredited Pennsylvania colleges or universities pursuing teacher certification to substitute teach after earning 60 credit hours. STS has developed a program compliant with Act 86 requirements.
