Substitute Positions: Teachers and Paraprofessionals

About the role

Support student learning and supervision during staff absences. Substitute teachers follow lesson plans provided by the teacher or campus staff. Substitute paraprofessionals assist with classroom activities and student needs as directed.

Requirements

• High school diploma/GED, some college hours, or associate degree.

Skills

• Ability to follow lesson plans and staff instructions
• Ability to assist students with learning activities
• Ability to supervise students and support appropriate behavior
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work cooperatively with teachers and campus staff

Experience

Experience working with children, supervising groups of students, providing instruction, or related work experience.

Pay

From $90.00 per day
