Substitute Teachers - Lower School

About the role

Lawrence seeks highly qualified, charismatic, and inspiring educators to join the school community as substitute teachers at our Broadview Heights Campus (grades 2–6). Both part-time daily substitute positions and long-term opportunities are available. The essential function of these positions is to provide coverage for teachers who are absent from school, and to provide a safe, structured, and academically-focused experience for students.

Responsibilities

• Provide coverage for absent teachers.
• Deliver a safe, structured, and academically-focused experience for students.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a school setting.
• A positive attitude and excellent organizational skills.
• Demonstrated success in a collaborative and cooperative workplace.
• Knowledge and sensitivity to the needs of students who struggle with learning and attention differences.
• A bachelor’s degree.
• Teacher licensure is preferred.
