About the role
Under the direction of the site administrator, the Substitute Teacher provides classroom coverage as assigned when regular teachers are absent. The Substitute Teacher must be confident teaching a wide range of developmental age groups.
Responsibilities
Provide classroom coverage for absent teachers; teach across a wide range of developmental age groups.
Requirements / Qualifications
- Copy of California Teaching Credential and/or Emergency 30-Day Substitute Permit
- Verification (or copy of receipt) of DOJ fingerprint processing through the County Office of Education
- Verification of TB Clearance
- Complete copies of transcripts
- Optional attachments: Resume, Letters of Recommendation
Pay
- Daily Rate: $200 per day
- Long-term Subs Daily Rate: $225 per day
- Retired Teachers: $225 per day
Schedule
- Employment Type: Part Time
- Work Year: 10 months per year
