About the role
Bonita Unified School District is currently accepting applications for the Substitute Teacher Pool. If selected, you will be contacted for an interview with the Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources. Substitutes are paid on the 10th of the month for work performed the prior month. Checks can be picked up at the District Office from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM at the receptionist’s desk. If the 10th falls on a weekend or holiday, checks will be available the working day before.
Substitute packets may only be submitted electronically. Only fully completed applications will be accepted. Applicants will be emailed the substitute application packet; materials are not mailed.
Requirements
- Valid California Teaching Credential or 30-Day Substitute Teaching Permit based on a Bachelor’s Degree
- Proof of BA/BS Degree posted on official transcripts (required for first-time substitute teaching applicants)
- Letter(s) of Recommendation
- Resume
Pay
Single rate: $174.00 daily.
Schedule
On-call, as needed. Employment type: part-time.
