Substitute - Teacher Long Term - Grade 4

About the role

The Douglas County School District seeks dynamic and dedicated professionals to join our Substitute Teacher Program. Long term assignments provide the opportunity to get to know our schools and students on a more advanced level.

Responsibilities

• Implement the teacher’s lesson plan in an environment that guides and encourages students to develop and fulfill their academic potential.
• Manage student behavior in the classroom by establishing and enforcing rules and procedures, and maintaining and applying discipline in accordance with the rules and disciplinary systems of the school.

Requirements

• Current Colorado Department of Education (CDE) Teaching License, or 5-Year Substitute Authorization.
• Three (3) professional references, minimum of (1) supervisor, including name, phone number, and email address for each reference (if not currently in DCSD Sub Pool).
• Official Transcripts (required for possible HQ verification).
• Passing results for any PLACE or PRAXIS tests taken (required for possible HQ verification).

Qualifications

A Bachelor's Degree is required.

$100.00 USD Daily - $200.00 USD Daily
