Substitute Teacher Infant Toddler / Preschool

About the role

Responsible for providing educational support to infants, toddlers, and preschoolers in a nurturing environment. Duties include facilitating learning through play-based activities, assisting with daily routines, and maintaining a safe and inclusive classroom.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers
• Assist with daily routines such as feeding, diapering, and bedtime
• Facilitate learning through play-based activities
• Maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment
• Communicate effectively with parents and colleagues
• Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
• Valid California Child Development Permit (CDP)
• Experience working with infants, toddlers, and preschoolers
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends

Qualifications

• Pass a background check
• Pass a health clearance
• Pass a drug screening
