Substitute Teacher - Eligibility Pool, 2026/27 SY

Requirements

Applicants must hold a 30-day SUB Permit OR a California Teaching Credential to work as a Substitute Teacher. The requirement can be met by obtaining one of the following:

• Teaching credential
• 30-day substitute permit
• Teaching permit for Prospective Teachers

The following must be attached to your Substitute Teacher application in order to be selected for an interview:

• 30-day sub permit or credential
• Bachelor's Degree Transcripts with confer date OR (90 units, only accepted with Prospective permit attached)
• Current Resume
• One letter of recommendation from a Professional/Educational Field (must be dated within 18 months of application date)
