Primary Objective
Responsible for teaching middle and / or high school students subject matter in a way that demonstrates a gift for teaching, a demonstrated competence of the academic discipline, and a genuine love for educating students.

Reports to Academic Dean
Competency and Qualifications
- Gift of teaching
- Demonstrated general competence in academics
- Good classroom presentation skills
- Ability to effectively communicate with parents if necessary
- Agreement with Doctrinal Statement and School Mission and Vision
- Genuine love for students
Knowledge and Expertise
- College degree preferred
- Teaching experience preferred, especially in classical and Socratic methodology
- Adequate computer skills
Major Roles and Objectives
- Teach assigned subjects and implement lesson plans for absent instructors of record
- Flexibility in schedule and general ability to teach across academic disciplines
- Manage classroom, including behavior issues
