Substitute Teacher

Responsibilities

• Review and implement regular teacher's routines, procedures, lesson plans, and curriculum objectives.
• Establish and maintain a safe and orderly classroom environment through supervision, providing an atmosphere conducive to the intellectual, physical, social, and emotional development of students.
• Provide meaningful instruction to students.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with students, teachers, staff, and parents.
• Report student injuries, illness, and serious discipline problems to school administration.
• Maintain a high level of energy throughout the school day.
• Maintain professional competence and comply with all school policies and procedures, including safeguarding and health and safety.
• Uphold confidentiality.
• Perform other related duties as assigned to ensure the efficient functioning of the work unit.

This position requires federal criminal background checks covering the countries you have lived and worked in for the last 10 years. All checks must be received prior to commencement of employment.
