Substitute Teacher
Position Overview
St. Joseph Montessori School is looking for highly qualified substitute teachers to join our dynamic community. Substitute teachers may be working with children ages 18 months through 8th grade in a co-teaching team model. Montessori overview training is required and will be provided by the school. If you enjoy working with and have a deep respect for children, can easily follow guidance in a peaceful manner, and are a life-long learner, come join our team!
Position Requirements
- Ability to support and promote a team environment
- Enthusiasm, initiative, high energy level, sense of humor, and flexibility
- Physical ability to work around children including sitting on the floor, standing, crouching, and climbing stairs
- Must be able to lift and carry or otherwise move 25 pounds on an occasional basis
