About the role
As a Substitute Teacher with Catapult Learning, you’ll step in to ensure instructional continuity and student success in the absence of regular teaching staff. Whether covering for a day or an extended period, you’ll play a key role in maintaining a structured and engaging learning environment that supports student growth. Responsibilities
- Deliver instruction based on existing lesson plans or guided materials provided by Catapult Learning or school staff.
- Maintain established classroom routines, procedures, and expectations.
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment for learning.
- Provide instructional support to students individually or in small groups.
- Track and report attendance, behavior, and instructional feedback as directed.
- Communicate with school personnel and Catapult Learning staff regarding student needs or classroom updates.
- Follow school and program guidelines to ensure learning continuity.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Education experience.
- NV substitute/teaching license preferred.
- Experience teaching or supporting instruction in a classroom setting (preferred).
- Ability to quickly adapt to new classroom environments and routines.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Unwavering belief that all children can learn.
- Basic proficiency with technology platforms for record keeping and communication.
