About the Role
We are seeking certified substitutes for the 2026-27 school year across five buildings in the Adel DeSoto Minburn Community School District:
- Adel Elementary (Preschool - 1st Grade)
- Meadow View Elementary (2nd - 4th Grade)
- DeSoto Intermediate (5th - 6th Grade)
- Middle School (7th - 8th Grade)
- High School (9th - 12th Grade)
Responsibilities
- Delivers elementary school curriculum consistent with school district goals and objectives.
- Promotes a classroom environment that is safe and conducive to individualized and small group instruction, and student learning.
This position reports to the building principal or designee at the assigned location.
Requirements
- Associates degree or 60 semester hours through a college or university (must provide official transcript).
- Current Iowa License (teaching license, substitute license, or substitute authorization license).
