Job Summary

San Mateo-Foster City School District is looking to hire substitute teachers! $200.00 per day prorated for early release or shortened days. Incentive for day‑to‑day substitute teachers: those who work 16 days or more in the District will be paid $210.00 per day starting with the 16th day; those who work 31 days or more will be paid $225.00 per day starting with the 31st day. Kindergarten through 8th grade. Substitute teachers are especially needed for middle school level.

Requirements / Qualifications

• Must have a California Teaching Credential, 30 Day Sub Permit or BA and CBEST (and willing to obtain a 30 day sub permit).

Pay

Base rate: $200.00 per day, prorated for early release or shortened days. After 16 days of service: $210.00 per day. After 31 days of service: $225.00 per day.
