Substitute Teacher

Responsibilities

This position exists to provide direct instruction and other educational services to hospitalized children and adolescents in order to help them maintain or improve their academic performance levels/standing and help them make a smooth post-discharge transition back into their home school setting.

Qualifications

• One of the nation’s largest and most respected providers of hospital and healthcare services, Universal Health Services, Inc.
• Preferred Special Education certification and teacher's license.
• Current CPR or BLS certification.
• (offered at facility)
• Current Handle with Care training.
• Preferred one year of experience working in a psychiatric inpatient setting with patients aged 5-65yrs+.
• Preferred classroom experience.
• Preferred Bachelor's Degree. HS Diploma required.
