Substitute Teacher

Early Childhood Education Educators are needed in Red Lion, Pennsylvania.

About the role

Our Early Childhood Education Educators play a crucial role in providing a nurturing and stimulating environment for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years. They are responsible for implementing developmentally appropriate curricula, ensuring safety and health standards are met, and fostering positive relationships with both children and families.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement daily lesson plans aligned with state educational standards
• Monitor children's progress and provide individualized attention as needed
• Collaborate with other educators and staff to develop and maintain a safe, healthy, and inclusive learning environment
• Communicate regularly with parents/guardians to share updates and address concerns
• Participate in professional development activities to enhance skills and knowledge

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
• Valid Pennsylvania Child Abuse Clearance Card
• First Aid/CPR certification
• Experience working with children in a childcare setting preferred

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Positive attitude and ability to handle stressful situations

Skills

• Knowledge of child development theories and practices
• Proficiency in using technology for lesson planning and documentation
