About the role
The substitute teacher/aide will be responsible for facilitating the day-to-day operations of the childcare center under the direction of the Director of the Childcare Center. They will monitor and ensure safety and program guidelines in their classroom, provide a safe, happy, and positive environment for all children, plan and implement all activities appropriate for 0-5 year-olds, complete DRDP assessments as needed, and communicate with parents as needed.

Requirements
- Six (6) completed core semester units of early childhood education/development and enrolled in at least two (2) semester units at a college until fully qualified or possess a teaching credential
- Six (6) months experience in a licensed child care center or comparable group child care program

- Title 22 Regulations
- Planning and implementing curriculum for children ages 0-5
- Current principles and practices of early childhood education in a play-based, family-centered program
- Current classroom supervision requirements for staff and volunteers
