About the Role
Grand Island Public Schools has an ongoing need for Substitute Teachers.
Substitute teachers must hold a substitute certificate from the Nebraska Department of Education.
Pay
- $193.44 per 8-hour day for substitutes with a Nebraska Teaching Certificate, State Substitute Certificate, or Local Substitute Certificate.
- $208.56 per 8-hour day for retired teacher substitutes.
- Long-term pay (10 days or more in the same position): $227.52 per 8-hour day; $266.96 per 8-hour day for retired teacher substitutes.
- $182.03 incentive when a substitute works 85% of available days per pay period.
- $1,112.27 annual award for working 125 days or more.
