Job Description
Primary Location: District Wide
Salary Range: Per Course
Shift Type: Full-Time
About the Role
Provide temporary instruction in core academic subjects to students while their regular teacher is absent.
Responsibilities
- Teach lessons aligned with district curriculum standards
- Assist in classroom management and student behavior
- Collaborate with regular teachers to ensure continuity of instruction
- Adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of diverse learners
Requirements
- Valid Kansas teaching certificate or emergency substitute permit
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and under pressure
- Pass background check and health screening
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Experience working with children recommended
Skills
