Substitute Teacher

Position Summary

The substitute teacher will ensure continuity of education by stepping in for an absent teacher, implementing lesson plans, maintaining a safe and orderly classroom environment, and managing student behavior.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Deliver the absent teachers lesson plan
• Maintain class order and a safe learning environment
• Supervise students

Qualification Requirements

• Strong communication skills
• Ability to form positive relationships with students
• Must be able to pass a background check

Education And Experience

• A short-call substitute teaching license is available to individuals who hold either a bachelor's degree or are enrolled in a teacher preparation program.
