About the role

Substitute teachers are needed to cover classes in various subjects and grade levels.

Responsibilities

• Cover classes in various subjects and grade levels as needed.
• Instruct students according to lesson plans provided by regular teachers.
• Maintain classroom discipline and ensure a safe learning environment.

Requirements

• Must hold a bachelor's degree or higher from a regionally accredited institution of higher education.
• License must be valid for substitute teaching in all grades of the public school, Pre-K to Grade 12.
• If you have a valid Professional Educator License or Educator License with Stipulations that requires a bachelor's degree for issuance, you are qualified to be a substitute teacher without needing an additional substitute license.

Pay

• Regular substitute = $140 per day
• Permanent substitute = $165 per day
• Long-term substitute = $140 per day for days 1-10, then $165 per day for days 11+
