About the role
Substitute teachers are needed to cover classes in all Greene County schools.
Responsibilities
- Cover classes in various subjects and grade levels
- Instruct students according to lesson plans provided by regular teachers
- Maintain classroom discipline and order
- Follow school policies and procedures
Requirements
- High school diploma/GED equivalent
- Complete substitute training
- Register for AESOP
Qualifications
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of technology literacy (email, word processing, internet)
Skills
- Effective classroom management
- Ability to follow lesson plans
