Substitute Teacher

About the Role

In the absence of the classroom teacher, provide students with learning activities designed to help them fulfill their potential while carrying out the plans of the teacher.

Responsibilities

• Instruct students and manage their behavior
• Maintain decorum and professionalism
• Follow all rules and regulations
• Work under the supervision of the building administrator while present at work

Requirements

• High School diploma or above
• TN Educator's License preferred or retired teacher status
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills

Pay

Salary is paid on a three-tier scale depending on education and active licensure.
