Founded in 1909 by the Sisters of St. Dominic from Newburgh, NY, the teachers and staff at Immaculata have long served students from many backgrounds and of various faiths from the Durham community and beyond. About the Role

Immaculata is seeking a qualified substitute teacher for the 23-24 academic year. Days and hours will vary based on need (Monday–Friday, 7:30 am–3:30 pm).

Qualifications

  • Must satisfactorily complete the required background and reference checks
  • Must complete Diocese-sponsored Safe Environment Training
  • Associate degree (Preferred)
  • Substitute teaching experience — 3 years (Preferred)
  • Childcare experience — 1 year (Preferred)

Preferred Candidates

Candidates with experience in education and/or supervising children are preferred.

Schedule

On call, Monday–Friday, 7:30 am–3:30 pm
