About the role
Davenport Community School District is hiring substitute teachers for the 2026-27 school year.
Responsibilities
- Support and implement Davenport's multi-tiered system of supports (MTSS) for both behavior and academics.
Requirements
- Hold a current Iowa Teaching License, Iowa Substitute Teaching License, or Iowa Substitute Authorization License.
- Must be willing to support and implement Davenport's multi-tiered system of supports (MTSS) for both behavior and academics.

Benefits
- Base Rate - $175/full day, $87.50/half day
- Long Term Rate (20 or more consecutive days in the same classroom) - $220/full day, $110/half day
- Retired Teacher rate - $200/full day, $100/half day
