Key Role Responsibilities
- Implement lesson plans and instructional activities provided by the classroom teacher.
- Supervise students throughout the instructional day, maintaining a safe, orderly, and productive learning environment.
- Manage student behavior according to school policies and classroom expectations.
- Take attendance and complete other classroom administrative tasks as directed.
- Communicate relevant information regarding student progress, behavior, and classroom activities to the regular classroom teacher and administration.
- Follow all school safety, emergency, and operational procedures.
- Assist with classroom transitions, duties, and supervision assignments as directed.
- Fulfill additional responsibilities as assigned in support of the school’s mission and operations.
Qualifications
- A mature and growing personal faith in Jesus Christ consistent with CCA’s Statement of Faith.
- Active participation in a Bible-believing church.
- A high school diploma required; bachelor's degree preferred.
- Prior experience working with children or in an educational setting preferred.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
- Ability to adapt quickly, follow directions, and maintain professionalism in a variety of classroom environments.

- Students demonstrate measurable academic growth and increasing spiritual maturity, evidenced by assessment data, substantive classroom discourse, and mastery of curriculum standards.
- Instructional plans consistently align with the curriculum and dual-credit requirements and intentionally integrate biblical truth, critical thinking, and classical pedagogy that engage and challenge all learners.
- Assessments are administered consistently, evaluated promptly, and accompanied by clear, actionable feedback that supports student learning and development.
- The classroom culture reflects respect, accountability, and grace, as demonstrated through high levels of student engagement, responsible conduct, and relationships grounded in truth and love.
- The teacher maintains accurate and organized records, communicates proactively and professionally with families and colleagues, and participates in the CCA community.
- CCA’s Portrait of a Graduate competencies and student behaviors are intentionally modeled, reinforced, and developed through instruction, classroom practices, and relational teaching.
