Substitute Teacher

The Connelly School of the Holy Child is dedicated to fostering a supportive and enriching learning environment. We are currently looking for enthusiastic and flexible Substitute Teachers to step in when our regular faculty are unavailable. This role is critical in ensuring that our students' educational experience remains uninterrupted. Key Responsibilities: Follow lesson plans left by the teacher and engage students with the assigned materialFacilitate a positive and respectful classroom environmentEnforce school rules and manage classroom behavior effectivelyCommunicate any necessary information to the regular teacher upon their returnOversee students during non-instructional times as needed, including lunch and recess Requirements Qualifications: A minimum of a Bachelor's degree, preferably in education or a related fieldExperience in an educational setting or with children is highly desirableStrong communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with studentsFlexibility and adaptability to various teaching situationsCommitment to Connelly's mission of nurturing the growth of each studentA collaborative spirit and willingness to work with faculty and staff Benefits Substitute teaching is a temporary position, which does not qualify for Benefits.
