About the role
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of educators and supporting the academic mission of Carlow University. They will also contribute to the development and implementation of innovative teaching strategies and curriculum enhancements.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement new academic programs and courses
- Collaborate with faculty to enhance teaching methods and student learning outcomes
- Assist in the recruitment and retention of high-quality faculty members
- Contribute to the overall academic success and growth of the department
- Participate in departmental meetings and committees
Requirements
- A Master's degree in Education or related field
- At least 3 years of experience in higher education administration
- Proven ability to manage and lead a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience with curriculum development and assessment

Salary range: $60,000 - $80,000 per year
