Substitute Teacher

Position: Licensed Substitute Teachers for all schools within the Baker School District 5J

Required Qualifications

• Current valid teaching license through the Oregon Teachers Standards and Practices Commission (TSPC) or a Bachelor’s Degree and obtain a Restricted Substitute License from TSPC by following the procedure located here: oregon.gov/tspc/LIC/Pages/First-Time-License.aspx
• Candidates applying for a Restricted Substitute Teaching License must provide a letter of support from the District to TSPC upon hire. Contact Jodi Thew, Human Resource Director, at 541-524-2260 Ext. 1045 or at jodi.thew@bakersd.org to request this letter.

Application Procedure

• Upload an Online Application, a Cover Letter/Letter of Interest and a current Resume.
• Upon District approval, complete an Oregon W-4, a Federal W-4, and Federal I-9 at the District Office.
