Substitute Teacher

Job Summary

The Archdiocese of St. Louis Catholic Education and Formation seeks responsible, faith-filled, and flexible Substitute Teachers to support the learning community at Sts Joachim and Ann Catholic Church, St Charles.

Job Responsibilities

• Implement lesson plans provided by the classroom teacher
• Supervise students
• Uphold the academic and behavioral expectations of the school
• Facilitate learning activities
• Manage classroom behavior in accordance with school policies
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all students

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (required)
• Valid state teaching certification (preferred; may be required per diocesan guidelines)
• Experience working with children or in an educational setting (preferred)
• Commitment to the mission and teachings of the Catholic Church
