Requirements Transcript verifying 64 or more hours of college/university credit2.5 GPA or higher Certification If no Kentucky Teaching Certificate is held, employee will be required to obtain an Emergency Substitute Teaching Certificate. Pay Scale Rank V: $73/day (must have 64-93 hours and 2.5 GPA) Rank IV: $75/day (must have 94 or more hours, no teaching certificate and 2.5 GPA) Rank III: $83/day (must hold a KY Teaching Certificate) Rank II: $85/day (must have Master's degree and KY Teaching Certificate) Rank I: $90/day (must have 30 hours above a Master's degree and a KY Teaching Certificate)
