About This Role

The Learning Loft in Dickson, TN is hiring a Substitute Teacher to support daily operations at an early childhood education center. This position offers $8.50 – $13/Hr and requires relevant professional experience.

What You'll Do

• Provide responsive care to children.
• Have a solid understanding of child development.
• Assist with the daily care and well-being of preschool or toddler-aged children.
• Familiarize yourself with ITERS or ECERS.
• Be an active and engaged participant in the classroom.
• Be open to ongoing learning and professional growth in the field of early childhood education.

• References
• Background check
• Pre-Service Training (paid & provided)
• CPR/ First Aid (paid and provided)
• Physical (Health)

Nice to Have

• Experience in a licensed childcare setting
• Eagerness, dependability, a willingness to learn, and a commitment to understanding the developmental needs of children
• Starting pay for college students with an Education major
• Overall experience in the field
• TECTA training
