Substitute Teacher 2025

Description SUMMARY Trinity Classical Academy seeks a candidate for the Substitute Teacher. Qualified candidates will provide temporary replacement services in the absence of the regular classroom teacher. The Substitute Teacher is expected to implement daily lessons to students, as directed by the classroom teacher and/or Principal, in a manner that aligns with our Classical Christian Education model to implement and individualized, highly-academic, enriched curriculum. Teaches all subjects and approaches daily activities from a Christian Worldview. Qualifications Essential Skills and Abilities Teaches academic content to studentsDemonstrates a high level of classroom management Demonstrates the ability to engage students in active learning Competencies Excellent oral and written communication skillsExcellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff, faculty, and students of diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, and ethnic backgroundsDemonstrates ability to establish good and appropriate relationship with students Qualifications Familiarity with classical methodology and Christian worldview integration preferred/ a plusMust be willing to learn a classical approach to subjects taughtA strong commitment to the emphasis and philosophy of Trinity Classical AcademyPositive support of the school’s policies and practicesService oriented and able to interface with many peopleTruthful, positive, and purposeful when communicating with othersMust be punctual and dependableFlexible and adaptable in dealing with new, different or changing requirementsMultitasked in an environment with many distractions is a mustMust successfully pass a background investigation
