Substitute Support - Current River School
What You’ll Do
- Substitute Cook: Prepare and serve meals according to Department of Elementary and Secondary Education and USDA rules and regulations. Perform kitchen clean-up duties. Follow health standards and food service training plans.
- Substitute Custodial Worker: Clean and maintain the building in accordance with cleanliness standards. Safely operate custodial equipment and maintain it. Maintain an orderly and safe environment. Demonstrate effective safety skills.
- Substitute School Office Assistant: Type using a computer keyboard with competency in Microsoft Office. Maintain databases and review documents. Assist staff with forms. Answer telephone, take messages, and distribute mail. Greet visitors and assist with arrival/dismissal transfers.
- Substitute Teacher Aide: Assist the classroom teacher in implementing the student instructional program. Follow behavior support plans and accommodate students' communication needs. Supervise students during off-campus instruction. Perform daily self-care needs and assist with special health care procedures.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- Experience working with individuals with severe disabilities is preferred.
