About the role
- Assigned to a mentor with teaching experience and knowledge
- Eligibility to participate in district professional development and specialized training
- Opportunity to gain practical teaching experience during the final one or two semesters of senior year
- Able to complete and pass Alaska Department of Education licensure exams in area of specialization
Requirements
- Graduating in the next 12 months with a degree in education (bachelor or master)
- In good standing and eligible to student teach based on college/university requirements
- Eligible students must be juniors
- Able to complete and pass Alaska Department of Education licensure exams in area of specialization
