Substitute Secretary - 2026-2027 School Year
Qualifications
- High school diploma with secretarial and college experience preferred.
- Proficient in written and oral communication.
- Strong technology skills.
- Exemplary organizational skills and ability to carry through multiple tasks in meeting deadlines.
- Self-motivated and self-starter person with strong interpersonal skills.
- Capable of working independently as well as collaboratively.
- Willing and able to adapt to change.

- Trustworthy with confidential material.
Requirements
- Apply online and upload a cover letter addressed to Laura Selover, Director of Human Resources.
- The Human Resources Office will send the DCI Background check form upon approval from DCI.
- Applicant will receive information about the substitute onboarding process after approval from DCI.
Benefits

Pay
Hourly wage: $15.50/hour
Schedule
Hours and the frequency of assignments will vary depending on district staffing needs, employee absences, and the substitute's availability.
Position Information
Substitute employees will be notified of available substitute assignments on an as-needed basis to fill in for absent staff.
