About the role
Provide temporary coverage for regular school nurses during absences.
Responsibilities
- Assist in providing first aid and emergency care as needed
- Monitor students' health and report any concerns to school staff
- Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare providers
- Document all incidents and actions taken in student health records
Requirements
- Current certification as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- First Aid/CPR certification
- Experience working in a school setting preferred
Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and under pressure
- Knowledge of pediatric health issues
Skills
- First Aid/CPR certification
- Experience with electronic health record systems
