Substitute Preschool Teacher

About the role

Join us as an On Call Substitute Preschool Teacher to support early childhood education programs and contribute to positive outcomes for children, families, and communities.

Responsibilities

• Work effectively with other teachers in the assigned classroom and center
• Support the social and emotional development of children using “positive guidance” approaches
• Encourage the involvement of families in a Head Start program and support relationships between children and families
• Follow all Acelero Learning policies and procedures related to center operations

Requirements

• The commitment and passion to work with children and families
• Effective communication and written skills
• A High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Substitute Certification preferred or Associate’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree
• Willingness to complete Introduction to Childcare Profession Certification or have it already completed

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Substitute Certification preferred or Associate’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree
• Completed Introduction to Childcare Profession Certification or have it already completed
