Substitute Paraeducator

The mission of Manhattan-Ogden Unified School District 383 is to prepare all students for success as lifelong learners, earners, and citizens. Responsibilities
- Reinforce learning for students with special needs
- Provide positive behavior support
- Implement lesson plans to help students with disabilities
- Perform a full range of educational and non-educational duties in classroom, clerical, lunch/recess, and personal needs areas
- Appropriately handle confidentiality issues
- Attend in-service training
- Abide by the general policy rules and regulations of USD 383
- Perform other duties as assigned by the teacher or building administration
Requirements
- Minimum of 48 college hours or successfully passing the Master Teacher Para Assessment Test
- CPR and First Aid certificates are highly recommended
- Must pass a background check
Qualifications
We are looking for creative problem-solvers who are good teammates and enjoy working with students from diverse backgrounds.
Pay
$11.15/hour. This position is not eligible for benefits.
Schedule
- Flexible hours depending on availability
- Average workday = 7.5 hours
- Times may vary depending on the building assignment
Location
Various school locations throughout Manhattan and Ogden.
Reports to: Teacher/Case Manager/Principal.
